South Pacific Oil is one of the largest corporate Organisations in the Solomon Islands. It imports and sells petroleum products including unleaded petrol, automotive diesel, Jet A1 fuels and a large range of automotive, marine and industrial lubricants. It is 100% owned by the people of the Solomon Islands through their contribution to the Solomon Islands national provident fund.
SPOL is seeking an energetic, detail oriented and hardworking Receptionist & Customer Service Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethics, positive attitude, be able to balance a variety of tasks and take great pride of the work. The successful candidate will be working with our terminal Operations team.
•Answer, screen and forward incoming calls to correct receiver.
•Collect accurate customer orders and making sure customers receives their orders.
•Provide administrative support in HSSE data collection and entry.
•Maintaining customer complaints register and ensuring complaint are dealt and closed in a timely manner
•Update HSSE annual plan and notifies appropriate supervisors on the monthly tasks.
•Maintain CAR summary for the terminal operations and issues out request for any maintenance as highlighted in incident reports, meetings and audit.
•Responsible for the annual archiving of all OPS documents in accordance with the SPO document and record management system.
•Must complete Form 6 studies or a certificate in secretarial studies would be an advance.
•1-2 years of office work experience in fuel industry or similar environment.
•Knowledge of MS office including word, excel and outlook.
•Having good knowledge on health, safety, security and environment (HSSE would be an advantage
•Being able to deal with customers with different background.
